

The vehicle owner may waive the right to an expedited hearing and instead await a hearing on the underlying offense, if any, according to the procedures of the Municipal Court or other courts.

If Civil Appeals decides in favor of the appellant, however, the appellant shall be entitled to immediate release of the vehicle without payment of boot/tow fees or storage charges (or, if appellant paid in full to obtain a release of the vehicle, to a refund within 30 days of payment).
